Dear reader, 

Hello ❤️ & welcome to ChessGeek. 

In 2019 I discovered chess, and during the pandemic, it became an obsession. Since I've always enjoyed teaching, I started posting chess videos, doing my best to explain the infinitely complicated universe of chess. This process, of formalizing my thoughts into videos made me a better player. 

As such, the ChessGeek Youtube channel and website documents my personal journey of chess growth. You can see how my thoughts and understanding of the game have evolved over time. Currently, I hover around the 2100-2200 range on chess.com, with a peak of 2297 (so close to 2300, yet so far! 🥲). Indeed, I still have much progress left to do!
