What is the Nimzo-Indian?
An opening which has passed the test of time, with flying colors! It was first utalized in 1851 and has been the main weapon by some of the top names in the chess world. Almost all players have at some period of their career used this system, and now it is your turn! Black prioritizes development. The first 3 moves prove this. Nf6, e6, and Bb4, all work towards the shared purpose of castling quickly. The point of black, is to play a positional game (which can turn agressive & tactical). We often target weakened pawns on c4-c3 for white, with Ba6, Nc6-a5, and Rc8!
